TEXTILE FIELD SHOOT FOR KAVDRAT

Textile Field was an installation designed by the Bouroullec brothers which went up in the Raphael Room in the V&A as part of the London Design Festival in September 2011.  I covered the assembling of the field, which took place overnight when the V&A was closed.

The installation was up for a week and I also documented how the public interacted with the textile field with their viewing of the Raphael cartoons.  It was great to get this commission from Graphic Thought Facility, a change from my more known stylized portrait work.

“INFORMATION IS CURRENCY” exhibition

I was asked in the summer of 2011 to contribute towards an exhibition currated by UP:  Jamie Balliu & Jeff Knowles

It was based on themes generated by the wikileaks cable releases, my interest were more about the user and how they react to the influence and urgency of the internet.

SCOTTISH NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY

My portrait of Karen Gillan originally shot for the Observer, was selected as part of the permanent collection.
